My Valentines!

This past week I took off to attend each of the kids school Valentines Parties. Lyric's party was on Thursday. She had a great time. Here are a few pics.

Following the party, I took Lyric to lunch for a date. We rarely are by ourselves anymore and I wanted some special one on one time. And special is exactly what I got! We ate at McDonalds's (Lyric's pick). We ate at the really tall pub style tables which made Lyric really happy. While eating our meal I noticed that Lyric couldn't exactly sit still because she was dancing to the music playing in the background. So I started dancing with her and we laughed and ate our food while I'm sure others around got a good laugh at us as well. After we finished eating Lyric said, "Mom we both look alike and we are both beautiful!" She is a doll and oh how much I love her. Here are pics of us together. We both had haircuts a week ago and she had to have hers cut like mine!

Friday was Dalton's party. Samara had to attend because she was not feeling well and was home with me all day. I planned on taking Dalton out for a date but because Samara was ill we had to take her to the Dr. We had a lot of fun playing in the dr's office and took some great pics on my new iphone but I don't know how to download those pics yet. I will have to ask Christy to show me. We plan on making up our date soon! Here are a couple pics from Dalton's party.

Friday night Dalton and Lyric went to their moms for the weekend. So that left just the three of us for Valentine's Day. It was a great one! We went to the mall and had family pics made. I can't wait to post them. We shopped for a while, had lunch at the food court, and headed home. Samara and I took an afternoon nap while Dustin worked on school stuff. That evening we made omelettes and watched movies together in the comfort of our own home. It was absolutely great! I wouldn't have had it any other way.
